I've traveled, but always come back to Illinois, I love the changing seasons, the colors and the spirit and drive the people have here. I'm still friends with the people I was friends with then. There's a comfort there having the same friends throughout your life. They know what makes you tick and when to pull you from the fires of life. I've always been a free spirit and I've worked in many different.places doing many different things, finally settling in social services until my retirement. My first stint was as a family support specialist, doing contract work for Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. After 14 years of that, came 20 years in assisted housing the last 7 1/2 years as the Executive Director of Kendall County Housing.
